Stalked on World of Warcrack?

December 16, 2007

A friend (user name withheld) was recently stalked by a girl on WOW.

Seems they were communicating pleasantly until one day he didn’t reply fast enough to her messages.

Then she went ape : ‘why haven’t you been replying to my messages’ , ‘where have you been’ etc.  What is worse is that she is in a 100 mile radius of his house, but fortunately does not have the address.  She’s also housebound by disability.

But of all the things, since he’s ignored her and all is well - but something to be careful about on WOW e.g.real names, addresses etc.

South Korean dies playing World of WarCrack

October 22, 2007

It was reported a South Korean who played for 50 hours non stop in an internet cafe died at the keyboard.

He in fact developed a blood clot in his leg which reached his heart and killed him.

I don’t think the game caused his death….but it must have catalysed it in some way.

Video games can be dangerous…..another two people have died in China playing World of Warcraft.  It easily be from the addiction pushing the body past it’s limits and the body eventually shuts down.

Can we have a Bush Ogre to kill?

June 6, 2007

I just wonder if Mr Bush lookalike could be incorporated into one of the dungeons as an end of level boss - it’s fair to say that conquering evil is a them in most fantasy gaming and this definitely would be a nice fantasy.

Millions of lives would be saved…the ozone layer might live….arms spending would decrease dramatically…

Much ado about nothing in Warcrack

May 25, 2007

I’ve spent most of my time this week helping out other players to do missions and get items.

There’s basically very little for me to do in the game and 5-man raids help me fill up my time in Warcraft world.

Being level 70 warrior with all items….things are getting booooooooring.  Expansion packs have to be released way more often, although I do play more than the average player…cranking up to 10 hours a day in the past.  Now it’s 1 or 2 hours.

Yawn….caught a movie this week life was so boring.

WOW designers have been smoking crack…

May 15, 2007

The latest update to WOW is utter crap - in fact, I’ve stopped playing as much because of it.

Forums are alight with all the pish currently being updated into the game - such weapons and items which took an age to attain before are now fairly useless and less powerful than before.

For long term gamers of WOW, this certainly is a turn off.  Hopefully some new update will fix this all.

World of Warcrack

April 5, 2007

Yup, World of Warcraft is in fact World of Warcrack.

Addictive beyond belief, this game has been known to chain humans to their PCs for a total of 20 hours per day, 7 days per week.

It’s become so addictive, people in China are creating World of Warcraft money and selling it for real currency.

I’m a self confessed addict, level 70 characters (x2) and prob. put in 20 hours a week minimum…..I don’t think it’s sad, is it sad to play chess or football 20 hours a week???

Warcrack is just a different game…
